God wants to live in and through you. Do you have the assurance that God lives in you? You may ask, "How could God ever live in me?" Another question may come to mind, "How could I be sure that God really lives in me?"
The Bible teaches that those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ receive the gift of God's Spirit. The sure way to know that God lives in you is through the gift of love. God is love, and the Spirit of God fills our hearts with his love.
The Holy Spirit is always received only as a gift. He is given to you by God the Father, through faith in Christ. That's how God lives in you.

The Spirit of God will make himself known in your life through faith, hope, and love. These three gifts of the Spirit will endure in your heart through a personal relationship with God. Your faith will be in God and his Son Jesus. Your hope will be in God for an eternal relationship. Most of all, you will know God's love for you.
