God Watching You

God is watching you. Does that make you uncomfortable or secure? God is not watching just to catch you in some wrong doing. He already knows what you will do before you do it. God watches you as his child because he is your loving Father. You are the apple of his eye.

Knowing that God is watching you should bring much security. A mother may watch her child to make sure the child is safe and well. That's a picture of love. God watches you all the time and everywhere. He delights as a parent interested in everything his child does.

Faith knows that God is watching us. Such faith will give you the strength to do the right thing in every situation. You become aware that nothing in your life is hidden from God.

Knowing that God is your audience everywhere you go should make you aware that he knows your joys and sorrows. He's there for you in the good times and bad. Most of all, you can talk to him about everything anytime.

"And we know that the God who sent us is watching us"  (2 Corinthians 2:17, NLT).
"You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed" (Psalm 139:15-16, NLT).
