Do you need God's mercy? Everyone does, and that includes you. We have all done wrong at one time or another. We all deserve God's judgment, but he has something better for you. He desires to show you his mercy.
God's mercy is sure for all who call upon him. He promises mercy to all who turn to him by faith. Trusting God's mercy is based upon his covenant. He has promised to have mercy on those who have done wrong. It's his promise of the everlasting covenant. Simply stated, it means that God will never change his mind.
God's mercy is proven for believers at the cross of Jesus. He fulfilled God's promise of mercy once and for all. Jesus died for our sins. God accepted his sacrifice in our place. He declared it to be true by raising Jesus from the dead.
Trust God to forgive you for all that you have done wrong. Believe in the mercy of God. Believe in Jesus Christ. God's sure mercy is for you and all who believe. Thank him today for his sure mercy given to you as a believer in Jesus Christ.
"And I will make an everlasting covenant with you -
the sure mercies of David."
