When Trouble Comes

"Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come to You.
Do not hide Your face from me in the day of my trouble."

Psalm 102:1-2

When trouble comes, God is there. Never does God promise us that trouble will not come. However, God does promise that He is with us always. And, that includes times of trouble. The believer's life is never described in the Bible as easy and carefree. God's Word does promise that believers are more than conquerors.

When trouble comes, resolve to put your trust in God as never before. No trouble is too big for your God. Trouble is only an opportunity to see God work in a greater way in your life. God's children have faced impossible odds in the past, but God was faithful. Situations that appeared impossible, became history to glorify God for His amazing greatness.

Don't run from trouble; run to God. Like the child of God you are, run to the security of your Father's everlasting arms. He will not turn you away. He will not fail you. Have faith in God through any trouble that comes. He changes not. His word of promise is sure. He is your shield and defender.

Pray and praise God through your trouble. Don't give up. Give into God's will and His glory. God may allow the trouble to grow stronger, the pressure to become greater, that the victory will give Him all the glory. Pray that His will be done. Praise Him that He is in control, even when your trouble comes.
