Be Not Afraid

Fear is a choice that ignores faith. Your will is involved. Believe that you can overcome fear. Learn how to overcome your fear. Your choice is between fear or faith. Your faith in God means He is with you always. Faith says to God, "I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me" (Psalm 23:4, NLT).

Faith knows that God is always there for you. Faith knows that God is everywhere with you. Faith does not need to feel God's presence. Faith does not need a physical presence. "That is why we live by believing and not by seeing" (2 Corinthians 5:7, NLT). Faith is living your life in the presence of God, knowing that He is there for you.

Fear rejects faith in God's presence. Fear says, "God is not here. I cannot see Him." Fear has thoughts of worry and a morbid imagination of everything that can go wrong.

Faith understands that things can go wrong, but God is always there as your Helper. Fear, to the contrary, makes you feel helpless. Faith is always willing to trust God to be there.

Overcome your fear. Believe that God is with you. Talk to Him anywhere and everywhere. Don't hesitate to ask God for help. He is there for you. Don't focus on fear. Faith will focus on God. Thank God that He is with you always. Be not afraid. Have faith in God.
