Do you sing? I don't mean to ask if you are soloist. Do you ever sing? What if I told you that God wants you to sing to Him? The Bible encourages all of us to sing to God. It's worship from our hearts and lips to praise Him. He's not listening for you to sing like a professional. He wants you to sing to Him from your heart.
Even if you don't often sing, listen to others sing to God. Focus on the words of praise and thanksgiving. Let your heart agree and use those words to express to God how you adore Him. The Spirit of God uses music to touch our hearts, even to change our lives.
When you are alone, a song about the Lord may come to mind. Speak the words to God. Express your worship of Him. Go ahead. Sing those words to the Lord. If you are off key or miss a note, it's okay. True worship always comes from your heart. Your song to God will be pleasing to Him.
"I will praise You, O LORD,
with my whole heart;
I will tell of all Your marvelous works.
I will be glad and rejoice in You;
