Tomorrow may threaten you with fear and uncertainty. You may become obsessed with all the possible problems of your tomorrow. Don't let tomorrow capture most of your thoughts or your emotions. Many things about tomorrow you cannot understand. "You do not know what will happen tomorrow" (James 4:14).
Don't try to live in tomorrow. Of course, it's never wrong to plan and prepare today for tomorrow, with the understanding that the things of tomorrow are never absolutely certain. Only God knows your tomorrows, all of them. Therefore, say, "If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that" (James 4:15).
Today is your gift from God. Enjoy the day. Live in today and trust God with tomorrow. Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today. Squeeze every ounce out of today. God has plans for you today. He is with you today. He wants to bless you today. Say these words, "This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalm 118:24).
Believe that God has plans for all your tomorrows. Trust Him with tomorrow, then live in the fullness of today. Know that God is already there in your tomorrows. He has made a way for you. He will meet you there. The one thing certain about tomorrow is God. His love, goodness, grace, and power do not change.
