Life is good. So many people believe to the contrary. It's because they don't know what life really is. Life is more than breathing. It's far more than a heartbeat or a brain wave. Most people have settled for an imitation of life. They are looking for a high, something that can make them happy. No matter what they try, they are always disappointed. So, they look for something new, finding the same old results.
Too many people give up on life, because they never knew real life. They become disappointed, discouraged, depressed, and helpless without life. Their ultimate question, "Is this all there is?" They look for what is sure to be good for them, and they are disappointed once again. They give up on life, never knowing life.
Life is good, because God is life. In Him is life, and that life is always good. God's goodness gives life and sustains life. God's goodness gives life with purpose. God's goodness is eternal. It is everlasting life. Unbelief sees no good in life, because it is disappointed again and again. Faith sees that life is good, because faith sees God.
Life is good to call you out of death. The light of life invites you to forsake the dreary darkness of death. Why will you be satisfied with death, when you can have life? Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live" (John 11:25). Choose life. God is life and God is good.
