Would you like to have greater faith in God? Probably, most Christians would. The only problem is that most of us look for greater faith in all the wrong places. There is a secret to finding greater faith. Any believer may find greater faith. It's an open secret found in your Bible.
Understand that faith never travels alone. You will never find faith where you do not likewise find hope and love. These triplets are never separated. If you have one, the other two must be there also. "And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love" (1 Corinthians 13:13). Please note that faith is not the greatest. Love is always the greatest, because "God is love" (1 John 4:8).
Therefore, the secret to greater faith is always greater love. Faith always follows love. God's love will always give you the faith and hope you need for every trial and test. You need not ask to be filled with greater faith. No! Never! Ask God to fill you with His love. Faith will come with love every time.
Those who want greater faith need greater love. Those who want strong hope only need more of God's love. Ask God to fill you with His love. That's the Spirit-filled life, "to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God" (Ephesians 3:19). Those who find greater faith are filled with God's love.
