God's Reason for Everything

Have you ever wondered what reason God had for making you? Hopefully, you don't believe your life is a meaningless accident of random chance. Maybe you really do believe God had a reason for your life, but you may ask, "How could I ever know that reason?"

The Bible declares God's reason in everything, and that includes your life. He made all things for the praise of his glory. "For everything comes from him; everything exists by his power and is intended for his glory. To him be glory evermore. Amen" (Romans 11:36, NLT).

You were made to bring glory to God. If you know God's reason for your life, then you are sure to know God's will for your life. The reason and will of God for your life is to bring glory to his name.

When your motive in all that you do is to bring glory to God, then he will bless you with wisdom, opportunity, insight, and ability. If your motive is only self-centered, sooner or later, you will lose your way in life. However, when your goal is to bring glory to God, everything in your life changes.

When you are focused on bringing glory to God, that doesn't mean everything is easy and carefree. You will not be free from hardship or difficulty, but you will understand the reason for everything. God will even use the hardship and difficulty to bring glory to his name. The reason for everything is the glory of God.
