Your Best Days

Are your best days ahead? You may see things as bad and think your days ahead are not good. People seem to make their minds up, even though none of us can predict all that is in our future. Job was a man who went through incredibly hard times and difficult days. Yet, we read these words about him. "So the LORD blessed Job in the second half of his life even more than in the beginning" (Job 42:12, NLT).

Your days ahead are really in God's hands. That doesn't mean that you should not plan and prepare. It does mean that the providence of God rules over all the days of your life. Expect his blessings. Look for your best days ahead. You can think this way simply because God is good. "For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation" (Psalm 100:5).

Your best days are ahead, if you believe in the goodness of God. As a child of God through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, God wants to bless you. "How we praise God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we belong to Christ" (Ephesians 1:3). There it is. No doubt about it. God has all of his blessings for you in Christ.

In your best days ahead, there may be trials and trouble. Yet, God is working all things together for your good. As a believer, nothing can happen to you that God cannot bring good out of it. Remember, every day and in your days ahead, God is good. That's the reason your best days are ahead.
