A personal relationship with God brings peace. It secures peace with God, and it brings peace from God. He is the God of all peace. When you walk with God, you walk in peace. While the circumstances around you may be everything but peace, yet the peace of God guards your mind and heart through it all.
Only grace can bring peace from God. Grace is God's favor, that we neither earn nor deserve. That favor is found as reality through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Trusting him, and yielding our lives to him, secures peace for you. "Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ" (Ephesians 1:2).
God gives you peace through his Son Jesus Christ. When we believe that Jesus died for all our sins, and that Jesus is risen from the dead, we have peace with God. Confess that Jesus Christ is your Lord. The Holy Spirit enters your life with peace in the name of Jesus. "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace ..." (Galatians 5:22).
Trust Jesus Christ to do for you and in you what you could never do for yourself. That is to bring peace with God and peace from God. Grace and unmerited favor from God comes to you by believing or trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ.
