The believer testifies, "I know that my sins are forgiven by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ." The doubter asks, "How can I know for sure?" The Bible gives a clear answer, "The just shall live by faith" (Habakkuk 2:4).
Do you have faith without doubt that Christ lives in your life? Our faith is sure. It is a faith that comes by hearing the word of God. Such faith is an abiding gift of the Holy Spirit. Doubt is dismissed, as you confess, "I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me" (Galatians 2:20). In Christ our faith is sure!
Do you have faith in God and His Son Jesus Christ? If you do, it's because the Spirit of grace is working in your heart. God's Spirit delivers you from doubt and unbelief to faith in the living God. "For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8-9). That's why our faith is sure.
Faith without doubt is sure, because Jesus Christ is the author and finisher of our faith. If you don't have faith without doubt, look unto Jesus to do in you what you cannot do for yourself. He will be the source of your faith. "Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith" (Hebrews 12:2).
What God commands, God gives. He commands you to come to Him by faith. By His grace, God gives you the faith to obey. The gift of faith without doubt comes through the work of the Holy Spirit in your heart. Look to the Son of God as the abundant source of your faith. Call upon the Lord to supply your need.
