Have you ever been in a situation where you felt helpless and didn't know what to do? That's a common experience in life. Be not discouraged, it's a time to call upon God for his help. It's not God's will for his people to be discouraged. The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged (Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV).
Be not discouraged, God will help you. God's word and Spirit can enable you to overcome difficult situations. God delights in speaking to you through the Bible. There are so many promises for you as a believer to be encouraged, that you may overcome all trials.
God's Spirit is able to deliver you from all fear. The Holy Spirit produces fruit in your life as a believer in Jesus Christ. The number one fruit is love. It comes first because God is love. The Bible teaches that God's love will cast fear out of your life. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love (1 John 4:18, NKJV).
Ask God for help to overcome your fear. Surrender your life to God's good will. Believe God's word from the Bible to defeat fear. Invite the Holy Spirit to fill you with God's love. Do not be afraid. God is with you. Be not discouraged.
