You may have fame and fortune, but without love life is without purpose. God made you for relationships of love in marriage, family and with friends. God wants you to know Him through love. God ordained marriage and the family to express the bond of love. He wants you to love everyone. In essence, your real purpose in life is to love and be loved.
God made you to experience His love. He wants you to love Him. Simply stated, that's your real purpose in life. He wants you to experience His love in your heart. Only the Spirit of God can make the love of God real to you. Faith in Christ bonds you with the love of God. The love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us"(Romans 5:5).
Loving God leads you to love others. God desires to show His love for others through you. He is able to change the lives of others through you. Love changes lives, because God is love (1 John 4:8). Yielding your life to God is yielding your life to love divine. As a result, you love God and others. That's when you discover your real purpose in life.
Life without love is life without purpose. Any other pretended purpose will fade away with time through disappointment. Love knows no end. Love is forever. Life without love is life without God. Your purpose in life is love. Love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:8). Life is never without purpose, when you love God and others.
