In this life, things can become stressful. Unexpected problems may confront you. However, a good life is not about avoiding problems. When life is good, it's about who is with you. When God is with you, it's a good life for you because God is good. For the LORD is good (Psalm 100:5).
Life is good when you can say to God, Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life (Psalm 23:6, NLT). God is good all the time and every day. God is good to help with your problems, no matter what you confront. More than that, God will be your helper every day of your life.
Do you believe in God's goodness? If not, life cannot be good. Believe in the goodness of God. God is love (1 John 4:8) and love is always good. His unfailing love will pursue you all the days of your life. That includes today. Thank God for loving you. Thank God that His goodness pursues you.
Help make life good for others. God wants to do good for others through you. Look for your opportunity. It will come. Let God's goodness touch others through you. If you do, it will be a good life for you. When life is good, you feel good. That's God's goodness in you. Yes, when life is good, you do good for others.
