Life Is about Love

Why did God create us? He made us to love us; He made us to love Him. Our relationship with God may simply be described by this one word love. That's the key word for our lives. Love is so important, because it tells us who God is. God is love (1 John 4:8). Life is about love, because God is love. 

The Holy Spirit enables us to experience God's love in our hearts. That experience comes through the good news of God's love in our Lord Jesus Christ. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him (1 John 4:9). Life is about love through the Son of God.

God wants us to love others. God can make us to be a channel of His love to others. Some people may not read a Bible to know about God's love. Yet, God's love for them through us can change their lives. No, we cannot change their lives, but God's love through us can. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God (1 John 4:7).

You shall love your neighbor as yourself (Leviticus 19:18). That's loving God and loving others as yourself. We can love others, when God fills our hearts with His love. The Holy Spirit fills us with God's love, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Ask God to fill you with His love. Then you will know life is about love.
