Loving God and Others

When we experience God's love, then we love him. He first loved us. A personal relationship with God becomes the love of your life. Remember the greatest commandment of all. Jesus tells us, And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength (Mark 12:30, NLT).

Loving God is responding to God's great love for you. God gave his Son as eternal proof of his love for you. God's love includes all races and nations. Christ crucified is love so amazing. For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son (John 3:16).

At conversion, the love of God fills your heart through the Holy Spirit. You experience the love of God through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit works in your heart to experience the love of God in a personal way. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love (Romans 5:5, NLT).

Loving God translates into worship. You adore and submit to God's great love. Likewise, you surrender to His good will and desire to please Him in the way you live. More than that, you love others because you love God. Jesus said, Love your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12:31, NLT). Life is loving God and others.
