God is always good, even during times of suffering and sorrow. The evil one comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). But, our God is never evil. The works of evil come from the kingdom of darkness. Never doubt, God is always good.
Because we are in a covenant relationship with God, be assured that he will do good in our lives. God cannot fail. God's word is his oath and vow. God is both great and good enough to honor his promises to all who love and trust him. And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good (Jeremiah 32:40).
God has promised to do good for his people. It does not mean that we are exempt from trials and testing. But it does mean that throughout our lives, God is working all things together for our good and his glory. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
Praise God for his goodness in our lives. When something bad happens to us, remember God is good. Praise God through the bad times. Know that God is working all things together for our good. Yes, God is always good.
