Fear can intimidate all of us. Fear can rob you of peace. Fear tries to force you to give up. It robs you of success in life, causing you to forfeit your God given purpose and destiny. Tormenting fear is an enemy that has no mercy.
Stand up to fear with the love God. Fear flees in the presence of God's love. The love of God is the power that defeats the lies of fear. The love of God conquers fear to give you a sound mind. Read about God's love in the Bible. Believe God's love for you. Ask God to fill you with love. "For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7).
When you are fearful, pray. God's love defeats your fear every time. Fill your mind with the truth of God. Fear's false threats cannot stand before the love of God. Read what the Bible says about fear. Conquer your fear standing by faith on the promises of God's love. Make the Bible your prayer book. Calling upon God to deliver you from fear is the way out of darkness into the light of love divine.
When you are fearful, you could say, "I don't want to live with this fear, but I can't help it." That's true. You can't, but God can. He can deliver you from all your fears. Call upon God. With God's love, fear is your defeated enemy. That's the power of love.
