Good Relationships

Life is relationships. God made all of us as relational beings. That involves a relationship with God and one another. How are the relationships in your life? Do you have good and meaningful relationships?

The key to meaningful relationships is the bond of love. When we speak of love, it is about accepting and affirming others. The God-kind of love is unconditional and unselfish. It's not what others can do for us, rather, the value we have for others.

Loving others is a matter of the heart. Only when God changes your heart can you really love others. Through faith in Christ, the Holy Spirit fills your heart with God's love.

It may be difficult for many people to have meaningful relationships, because they fear rejection. Such fear vanishes when we know the acceptance and affirmation of God through his love. His love changes our lives. Then, we are able to love others through meaningful and significant relationships.

"Dear friends, since God loved us so much,
we surely ought to love one another."
