Understanding God's will for your life begins with the will of God to be your Father. He desires to be your Father. God seeks relationship with you as Father. Through faith in Jesus Christ, you become a child of God. You are adopted into the family of God.
The day came for a dad to explain to his child that she was adopted. He lovingly said to her, "When a baby is born into a family, that child has parents through birth. When you came into our family, it was by choice. We chose you to be our adopted daughter. We chose you because we love you, and we always will." So it is with your Father in heaven. He chose you in Christ, because He loves you.
God adopted you into His family as a believer in His Son, because He wants to be your Father. His love for you is unconditional and everlasting. Trust Him with absolute confidence that He is there for you. Know that you are secure in your relationship with Him. He is your Father forever.
