Have you been praying about something for a long time? You may wonder if God is hearing you. So you have prayed over a problem and the answer has not come? The Bible teaches us to keep on praying. Don't give up. The Bible encourages us to wait upon God. God will answer your prayer in His time.
Faith refuses to give up, knowing that God hears and answers prayer. The power of prayer is faith, and the author of faith is the Lord Jesus. Faith begins and ends with Him. Look to Jesus Christ for the faith you need. Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Doubt says,"I prayed yesterday and God hasn't answered my prayer. I guess He didn't hear me." Faith says,"I prayed about my problem and I know God heard me. He will answer in His time and in His way." Our faith is tested in prayer. When we ask in faith, we receive from God. Thank God by faith before the answer actually comes. With such faith God is pleased.
Doubt blocks us from answered prayer. How can we defeat doubt to receive from God? First, base your faith on the promises of the Bible. Also, praise God that He heard you. Look unto Jesus as the author and finisher of your faith. God answers the prayer of faith.
