Your Focus in Life

Focus is necessary to achieve anything. Without focus, your mind may become scattered. That can easily lead to confusion. It's like using binoculars. The lens of the binoculars must be focused or your vision is blurred. You can choose the focus of your life. Focus sees without distraction.

With so many things in this world seeking your attention, it's easy to lose focus. You could become so distracted that you don't know where to put your focus. Jesus taught us to put our focus upon God and other things will all fall in place. He said, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you" (Matthew 6:33).

Faith focuses upon God. That means God is the first priority in your life, above all other things. God controls all things. He gives you all things. Faith understands that God is the source of all things. Therefore, to focus upon God includes all things. However, when you focus on other things, you need to refocus on the source of all things.

It's easy to lose your focus in life. Other things may become more important to you. Then, your vision is blurred. Your mind may become scattered and confused. That's the time to refocus on God. Make God the focus of your life in all things.
