I hope that you enjoy good days in your life now as you walk with God. Yet, your best day is still ahead. May God bless you with many good days, as you enjoy his goodness. Yet, your best day ever is still to come. As a child of God, by faith in Jesus Christ your Lord, the best day ever will be the day you die.
As a believer, the day you die is the day you see Jesus face to face. You will see everything in a way that you have never seen before. "Now we see things imperfectly as in a poor mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity" (1 Corinthians 13:12, NLT).
The day you die will be one eternal day. God himself is the eternal light for all who have eternal life in Christ Jesus. His presence provides an eternal home with love, joy, and peace. The trials, temptations, suffering, pain, and sorrow are gone. "And there will be no night there, no need for lamps or sun, for the Lord God will shine on them" (Revelation 22:5, NLT).
As a believer in Christ, you can say with the apostle Paul, "For to me, living is for Christ, and dying is even better" (Philippians 1:21, NLT). He went on to say, "Sometimes I want to live, and sometimes I long to go and be with Christ. That would be far better for me . . ." (Philippians 1:23, NLT). What a day that will be.
