Do you find it hard to change your mind about anything? You may have a world view that has no place for God or the amazing things that he can do in your life. If that is the case, God calls you to change your mind about him. The Bible refers to this change of mind as repentance.
For God's kingdom to work in your life, you must change your mind. His kingdom can bring peace and joy. A change of mind permits you to know the Holy Spirit is working in you and around you.
God's kingdom is his will, rule, and power. When he works in your life, it all begins with a change of mind. That could require a crisis experience to awaken you. It could be an unusual situation that challenges your world view.
When the Spirit of God's grace works in you, it will always begin with a change of mind. You begin to understand the things of God. Repenting, that is changing your mind, receives from God's love and goodness.
"From that time on Jesus began to preach,
Repent, for the kingdom of God is near."
