God wants to use you to build up and encourage others. Your words have the power to change others. Let God use you to strengthen faith, inspire hope, and bring love to others. Your words can make a difference. You could really change someone's life with the right words.
Can you remember someone who spoke words to you that encouraged you, or perhaps, helped you through a difficult time? If someone did that for you, then you can do likewise for someone else.
Flattery is cheap. People see through the motive of words that are not sincere. Yet, when you observe someone who did something that you admire and appreciate, let them know it. When you talk to someone who has helped you in life, thank them. Honor them with words of appreciation.
Sharing God's love in words of kindness can make a difference in another person's life. We all need to be reminded of God's love for us. By the grace of God, your words spoken to a person at the right time may make a difference.
"The mouth of the righteous is a well of life,
but violence covers the mouth of the wicked."
Proverbs 10:11, NKJV
