Fear never walks with love. Fear torments and harasses its victims. Love brings peace and joy, patience and self-control. Fear introduces its victims to constant anxiety and worry. Love introduces you to God. That's who He is. It's simply not God's will for you to live in bondage to fear. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7).
The power of God delivers you from fear. That power is God's Spirit working in your heart, that is your mind, will, and emotions. The one who delivers you from all fear is Jesus Christ. He is the Savior from the torment of fear. He is the champion of love. Call upon Him. Ask Him to deliver you from the bondage to fear.
Pray the Word: God, I agree with the word of truth. You have not given me a spirit of fear. Deliver me from all fear, through the power of love. Give me a sound mind, through the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Do the Word: Refuse to blame God for a spirit of fear. Never consider tormenting fear to be God's will. Believe that God's will is "of power and of love and a sound mind."
