The gift of hope is born in your heart as a child of God. Hope has to do with the future, even your eternal future. Your hope is based on the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Because He lives, you too shall live and be in His glorious likeness. Christ is your hope.
Faith and hope are inseparably joined together. As a believer, you can be sure that death cannot separate you from the love of God in Christ. Faith is the evidence of things not seen. Hope is God's testimony in your heart that your future is certain in Christ. Faith, hope, and love are abiding gifts of the Holy Spirit. Every child of God has these three gifts. "And now abide faith, hope, and love, these three; but the greatest of these is love" (1 Corinthians 13:13).
Pray the Word: Father, I praise You for giving me faith, hope, and love in Christ. I see my future is sure in Christ my Lord. I praise You for abiding hope in my life, through the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
