Sure faith is from Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of your faith. If you don't have such a sure faith, look unto Jesus to do in you what you cannot do for yourself. He will be the source of your faith. "Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith" (Hebrews 12:2).
What God commands, God gives. He commands you to come to Him by faith. By His grace, God gives you the faith to obey. The gift of faith comes through the work of the Holy Spirit in your heart. Look to the Son of God as the abundant source of your faith. Call upon the Lord to supply your need.
Pray the Word: Lord Jesus, I look unto You as the author and finisher of my faith. My faith is sure in You. I look to You to finish what You have begun in me. Amen.
Do the Word: When doubt attempts to deceive you, look unto Jesus, not only as the author of your faith, but the finisher as well. Don't focus on doubt. Refocus your mind and heart upon Jesus Christ. He will never fail you.
