God speaks through the Bible. The Holy Spirit inspired the word of Scripture centuries ago, but He still speaks through it. Those who believe not, can only read printed words on paper. Believers read words that speak to their hearts. The still quiet voice of the Spirit of the living God speaks with love and grace.
God's word to you is love. God our Father loves you and all of His children. When God is speaking, love is speaking to your heart. God has something to say to you. His love is real, personal, and intimate with you as a believer. Furthermore, "nothing in all creation will ever separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:39, NLT).
God communicates His love to you. He speaks to you through the Holy Spirit. His voice is not known to your ears. God's voice is real to your heart. "For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love" (Romans 5:5, NLT).
The Holy Spirit speaks to the hearts of all God's children. He shares God's thoughts with you. They are eternal thoughts from the Father above. Thoughts from the Bible that encourage you, console and comfort you. His thoughts strengthen you and assure you. God's word to you is clear. He loves you.
