Take control of your life. The control of your life is found in your mind. If your mind is out of control, so is your life. So many people would like to change their lives, but they don't know how. It all begins in the mind, often referred to as the heart in your Bible. It's about the control of your mind.
Either your mind is controlled by your sin nature or the Spirit of God. That makes all the difference in your life. If your sin nature controls your mind, there is often confusion, fear, doubt, and indecision. If the Spirit of God controls your mind, there is peace. God can give you peace of mind. "But if the Holy Spirit controls your mind, there is life and peace" (Romans 8:6, NLT).
When Jesus Christ comes into your life, He brings peace of mind. All who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ receive the Holy Spirit. "The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you" (Romans 8:11, NLT). That means you have peace with God and peace from God. Your mind is renewed by the Holy Spirit. "Let God transform you into a new person by the way you think" (Romans 12:2, NLT).
Even believers may have thoughts sometime that could temporarily bring confusion, fear, doubt, or indecision. That is part of your spiritual warfare. When that happens, pray that those thoughts will be pulled down and brought under the control of Christ. The Spirit of God will restore peace of mind.
