Life Worth Living

Life worth living is about God who made you. He made you to love you; He made you to love Him. Your relationship with God may simply be described by this one word, love. That's the key word for your life. Love is so important, because it tells you who God is. "God is love" (1 John 4:8). Life worth living is about love, because God is love. 

The Spirit of God enables you to experience God's love in your heart. That experience comes through the good news of God's love in our Lord Jesus Christ. "In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him" (1 John 4:9). Life is about love through the Son of God.

God wants you to love others. God can make you a channel of His love to anyone and everyone. Some people may not read a Bible to know of God's love. Yet, God's love for them through you can change their lives. No, you cannot change their lives, but God's love through you can. "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God" (1 John 4:7).

God wants you to love yourself. No, God does not want you to be selfish nor self-centered. Loving yourself is agreeing with God, because He loves you. Listen to these words from the Bible: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (Leviticus 19:18). That's life worth living, loving God and others as yourself.
