In bad situations, everything goes wrong. It seems like your whole life is crumbling, and you may not know what to do. When everything goes wrong, there is only one place to go. God is there for you. It's time to praise God. That's right. Praise God in the midst of everything that has gone wrong. It's called the sacrifice of praise. With Jesus' help, let us continue to offer our sacrifice of praise to God by proclaiming the glory of his name (Hebrews 13:15, NLT).
It may seem strange to you to praise God when everything goes wrong. Most of us reason that you only praise God when things are going your way. However, believers should praise God all the time, and that includes bad situations. Praise recognizes that God is good all the time, even in bad situations.
Praise opens the door for God to work in our lives, yes, even when everything goes wrong. In times of trial and testing, our praise to God recognizes that He is forever the same. Our life situations may change oh so fast, but our God changes not. His love, mercy and grace is constantly there for us.
See what God will do in bad situations. Praise God through it all. Praise God in the good days and the bad ones. Resolve to praise God when you understand, and when you don't. When everything goes wrong, it's time to praise God: I will bless you every day, and I will praise you forever (Psalm 145:2, NLT).
