When Faith Comes

Unbelief refuses to think that a man dying on a cross many centuries ago could ever make any difference today. However, faith sees the Son of God dying for sinners. Faith testifies, "In my place condemned He died. He was crucified for my sins, all of them." Faith says, The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7).

By God's grace, faith comes into your life. When faith comes, that is because of amazing grace touching your heart in a special way. Grace alone renews your heart to believe. Grace delivers you from unbelief unto faith. Grace through faith renews your mind and heart unto a new life. Faith resets the direction of your life.

When faith comes, you are looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2). Faith enables you to see Jesus enduring the shame of your sins on the cross. Seeing Him, who never sinned suffering for your sins, brings freedom from all condemnation.

The Spirit of grace brings you from unbelief to faith in Jesus Christ, who saves you from all of your sins. From unbelief to faith is your turning point, looking unto Jesus. By the Spirit of grace, faith enables you to trust in Christ your Lord. When faith comes, the eyes of your understanding are opened.
