When you pray, do you have confidence God will answer? Prayer to God must believe that He will hear and answer. Prayer is not just saying religious words or quoting from memory. When you pray to God our Father be confident that He will answer.
Can you really be confident in prayer? Unbelief says, "No one can have confidence in prayer. It's nothing but religious talk." Doubt says, "Some people may have confidence in prayer, but I'm not sure that I ever will." Faith says, "I pray with confidence, because my prayers are based upon the promises of God in the Bible. God always honors His word."
Can you be confident when you pray? Please understand that it is not self-confidence, far from it. Rather, it is confidence in God and His word. Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us (1 John 5:14). God's word is God's will. Make the Bible your prayer book. Be confident in prayer, standing by faith upon the promises of God.
When you pray, remember all the promises of God are Yes and Amen. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us (2 Corinthians 1:20). When you pray, be confident with the promises of God in Jesus name, to the glory of God.
