Find Peace of Mind

The God of all peace lives in you as a believer, through the Holy Spirit. A fruit of God's Spirit working in you is peace. If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit indwells you. He gives you peace of mind. You may allow problems and worries to rob you of peace. As you turn your attention toward God in Scripture, prayer, and song, the Spirit of peace guards your mind.

Worship of God is your source for all things, and that includes peace of mind. You will often have problems, but you need not think about them all the time. Take time to focus your mind upon God. A troubled mind, that will rob you of peace, is a call to worship.

You need God's peace. The good news is that it's available. A songwriter understood this, when he wrote these words: "Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in His wonderful face. And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace." In His presence there is peace of mind.

"And the peace of God,
which passes all understanding,
will guard your hearts and minds
through Jesus Christ."

Philippians 4:7
