Is your life in Christ? You may be in church, but not in Christ. You could be very religious, but not in Christ. You may really try to live a good life, but not be in Christ. To be in Christ is to live by faith in Christ. Your life in Christ is about His love in your heart. To be in Christ means you are acceptable to God.
God alone can give you a new life in Christ. It is never because of your efforts or works that you are in Christ. Rather, it's all about the Spirit of God working in you. God alone is able to make Christ real in your life. It is God's grace working in your heart.
If you have come to faith in Christ, give God the glory. Recognize that your relationship with God is about His work in you. Thank Him for the gift of His Son. Trust Him to continue working in you and through you, to do those things which are pleasing to Him. Rest in God's grace alone to work in you.
It's not what you do for God, but it is what He does through you. God's Spirit works through you to do God's will. As you yield to Him, God will do greater things through you. But, always remember, that it is God who works through you to the praise of His glory.
