Have you found favor with God? It makes all the difference in this life and in the life to come. Favor with God means you have peace with God. Favor is a personal relationship with God. You know him as your Father in heaven. You are not reluctant to ask for his help. Favor with God enables you to trust him. You have confidence in your relationship with God.
Favor with God has a name. It's called grace in the Bible. Grace is unmerited favor with God. That is to say, you could never earn nor deserve it. Yet, God chooses to give us favor, because he is gracious, merciful, and full of love divine. Such favor is always offered freely.
God's favor changes our lives. We see ourselves as forgiven before God. Our hearts are never the same, when God's favor is bestowed upon us. Favor brings assurance in prayer. We no longer think that we must be worthy to ask for God's help. Favor brings God's blessings beyond our imagination.
You may ask, "Where can I find favor with God?" The answer from the Bible is simple and clear. God's favor is found in your heart. The sure evidence is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It's always grace through faith. God's favor is God's Son. "And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace" (John 1:16).
