"Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds."
Psalm 36:5
His wife's name was Faye, but that's not what he called her. His name for her was Faithful, because she had always been there for him during their marriage. She worked to provide for them, when he was finishing his college degree. She had been there for him through two times when his job was suddenly terminated, because of circumstances beyond his control. She was there for him through three major surgeries. She cared for him, when he couldn't take care of himself. No wonder that he called her Faithful. She always had been.
God is always and forever faithful to His children. "God's faithfulness reaches to the clouds." That is as far as we can see, God is always faithful. His faithfulness is at the highest level for those who are willing to trust Him.
The bond that God's children have with Him as our Father is trust. All relationships are built on trust. We may trust Him when we understand, and when we cannot. We can trust Him when life seems easy and carefree, and when it seems impossible.

The pastor counseled with a woman having trouble trusting her husband. There was no real reason for her mistrust. Later, she confessed that she had trouble even trusting God. In a subsequent session, she honestly confessed that as a child, her trust in her father was shattered, and she had not forgiven him nor recovered. This was the heart of her problem. Sometime, we may have trouble trusting anyone, even God. Forgiving others who have failed us is the key to recovery. Though others may fail us, God's faithfulness "reaches to the clouds."
Father, we trust Your faithfulness through all things.
