Encourage Others

God wants to use you to build up and encourage others. Your words have the power to change others. Let God use you to strengthen faith, inspire hope, and bring love to others. Your words can make a difference. You could change someone's life with encouraging words.

Can you remember someone who spoke words to you that encouraged you, or perhaps, helped you through a difficult time? If someone did that for you, then you can do likewise for someone else. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them (Ephesians 4:29, NLT).

Flattery is cheap. People see through the motive of words that are not sincere. Yet, when you observe someone who did something that you admire and appreciate, let them know it. When you talk to someone who has helped you in life, thank them. Honor them with words of appreciation.

Sharing encouraging words can make a difference in another person's life. We all need to be encouraged. That includes everyone you will talk to today. You encourage others with words. You can make a difference in their lives.
