A personal relationship with God brings peace. It secures peace with God, and it brings peace from God. He is the God of all peace. When you walk with God, you walk in peace. While the circumstances around you may be everything but peace, yet the peace of God guards your mind and heart through it all.
Only grace can bring peace from God. Grace is God's favor, that we neither earn nor deserve. That favor is found as reality through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Trusting him, and yielding our lives to him, secures peace for you.
Peace with God, in Christ, is a reality in your heart through the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of Christ changes your heart. One certain proof of that change is peace with God, and peace from God. It's living a life of peaceful assurance, that God is your Father, and Jesus is your Lord.
