When Problems Come

When your problems multiply, you may be tempted to think God has forgotten about you. Problems can easily depress and discourage you. Watch your thoughts. Ask yourself this question: What good could God bring out of this problem? Believe in the goodness of God.

Trusting God means that you don't simply look only at the problems experienced now, but you trust God over time to bring good out of it. That's called faith. Fear always looks at the problems. Faith always looks to God.

No one is exempt from bad things coming our way. However, you can wait upon the Lord, trusting in His goodness to prevail. You can trust God's unchanging goodness. Thank God for His goodness in the midst of your problems. Ask Him to show His goodness through it all.

"For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting,
and His truth endures to all generations."

Psalm 100:5
