Ask God for Help

When you have a problem, ask God for strength and help. Turn to the Bible to find the promises of God's help in your time of need. Believe the promises and pray them back to God. Receive God's help through prayer.

Doubt says, But how can I know that God is really with me? I'm just not sure. Faith says, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). God is your help when trouble comes. God's help comes to you in his word of promise. When trouble comes, dismiss doubt and believe the word of God's promise.

Receive God's help in your time of need. His help will come, as you stand by faith on the sure promises of God. Your need is God's opportunity to work in your life, according to his word of promise.

The LORD of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge (Psalm 46:11). This verse refers to the covenant of God. LORD is God's covenant name. God promises with an oath to be the refuge or safe place for all who believe his covenant word.

Ask God to help you, according to his word of promise. Receive God's help with confident assurance. God will do all that he has promised. He says to all believers, I will never leave you nor forsake you (Deut. 31:6; Joshua 1:5; Hebrews 13:5). When you need help, stand firm on God's covenant promise.
