Expect Answered Prayer

A chief executive officer had a list of important phone calls that needed his immediate attention. Among the names on the list included his son's name. The first call he made was not a business call. It was a return call to his son. Although the man was a CEO of a major corporation, he was also a father. He had his priorities right. His son came first.

God is your heavenly Father as a believer in His Son. Your prayers are made in the name of His Son Jesus. They receive top priority. It's about a family relationship. Through faith in the Son of God, you are in the family of God.

Ask God your Father to answer your prayer according to His will. Ask for His goodness, love, and mercy to work in your requests. Ask and expect to receive. That's called faith. God is always pleased with your faith in Him.

Expect God to hear and answer your prayers. You have God's ear. He will hear you at any time. You can know the joy of a real prayer life. More than repetition of words, your prayer life is real because you have a real relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

"For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous,
and His ears are open unto their prayers."
1 Peter 3:12

"The righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith;
as it is written, 'The just shall live by faith."
Romans 1:17
