Your Access to God

Have you felt unworthy to pray, but you thought someone must pray for you? All of us have felt unworthy, because we have all sinned, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). However, as a believer in Christ, you have access to God. Christ is your access to God. That's the reason we pray in His name.

Christ is your access to God through the Holy Spirit. "For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father" (Ephesians 2:18). Prayer involves you with the Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. You have access to God the Father, by faith in the merit of Christ, through the Holy Spirit. Jesus is your access to God.

Your access to God is anytime and all the time. He makes Himself available to you now and always. Doubt may rob you of access to God. Unbelief will shut the door to God's access. However, the problem is always with us, never with God.

Don't hesitate to come to God in prayer anywhere and anytime. He is there for you. Your access to God is guaranteed through faith in Jesus Christ. He is your access to God forever.
