When Problems Come

God brings other people into our lives to support and care for us. Who is the person you trust to share your problems? It may be a spouse, a family member, or a friend. You need to talk. That trusted person loves you enough to listen. Problems need to be shared with prayer partners. You need people to pray with you and for you.

Your problems are a reminder that others with problems need you. Someone needs you to listen. Someone needs you as a prayer partner. Someone needs you to be trustworthy and faithful. God can use you to help and encourage others. Your problems may be resolved, as you listen and pray for others. "Share each other's troubles and problems, and in this way obey the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2, NLT).

Pray the Word: Father, use me to obey the law of Christ, by letting others share their problems with me. Use me to encourage and pray for others, through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Do the Word: Be aware of God bringing people to you with troubles and problems. Pray with them. Encourage them. Let God use you to minister to others.
