Have it your way? That's a common desire for so many people. Is your way God's way? God gives you a choice. Understand that God's way is love, joy and peace. God's way is always right and good. God allows you to reject His way. That leads to sin, sadness, confusion, and misery. God has a better way for you. You make the choice. "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death" (Proverbs 14:12).
God's way has a name. His name is Jesus. He came that you may have life full and abundant. He died for all your sins. He is risen from the dead to justify you from every wrong thing you have done. He fills your heart with love divine and eternal. He invites you to come to Him. He is the way to all the good things God has for you. Jesus says to you, "I am the way ..." (John 14:6).
Pray the Word: God, I have gone my way for too long. Now, I choose your way, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Do the Word: Remember, God always gives you choice. God's way is one of two options. You can't have it both ways. Choose love, joy and peace. God's way is the right way. Choose to follow Jesus Christ as Lord of your life. He is God's way.
