You Are Forgiven

The person who is forgiven has eyes of faith to see Jesus hanging on the cross. In his place Jesus was condemned. For his sins Jesus died. The person forgiven knows that his sins are paid in full. He sees that his sins are covered forever by the blood of Jesus. He knows that he can only boast in the cross of Jesus. "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace" (Ephesians 1:7).

The person forgiven praises God now and forever. He gives all the glory to God because his sins are gone. He knows what God did for him, that he could have never done for himself. He is free from all condemnation. His guilt is gone. His shame has been removed. He is blessed by grace, forgiven in Christ. You are forgiven at the cross of Jesus.

Pray the Word: God, I believe Jesus Christ died for all of my sins. I believe Jesus is risen from the dead. I confess, Jesus Christ is Lord.

Do the Word: Believe Jesus Christ died for all your sins. Reject shame and guilt at the cross of Jesus. Thank God for your forgiveness in Christ. Focus your faith upon Jesus Christ as your sacrifice for sin.
