Everlasting love comes only from God. His love for His people is from everlasting to everlasting. Only from the everlasting God can you find everlasting love. He speaks His love to His people, saying, "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love" (Jeremiah 31:3). He wants you to know that His love for you is everlasting. Yes!
God's everlasting love for you is found at the cross of Jesus. God does not simply tell you that He loves you. He proves it, and He proves it forever. He gave His Son as the great act of His love. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son" (John 3:16). If you ever doubt God's love for you, remember Christ crucified. There is no greater love, and it is everlasting.
Pray the Word: Father, I receive Your everlasting love for me through Your Son at the cross. Your love in Christ crucified for me a sinner is overwhelming. Fill me with your love in the name of Jesus. Amen.
